‘The group Mish Mash, made up of four members, displays its talent in melodies that go straight to the heart. The quartet revives this musical tradition in a subtle, generous way. By the influence of America and jazz, atmospheres that are Slavic, gypsy, Greek or Ottoman, the klezmer style has acquired a particular sound that deserves to be recognised the world over. The ‘Bewitching Dance’, one of Mish Mash’s pieces, evokes the full musical significance of this group, between mystery, dance, euphoria and melancholy.’ Lionel Rocheman, ACTUALITÉS JUVES HEBDO
